- →Course overview, syllabus, history of remixing, roles of producers/DJs, bootleg vs. label remixes, in-class exercise: analyze a professional remix
Working with Acapellas
- →Sourcing acapellas (Splice, Vocal Downloads, label permissions), legal considerations, time-stretching/pitch-shifting, in-class exercise: import and align an acapella in your DAW
Working with Stems and Remix Prep
- →Stem preparation (exporting, organizing), key/tempo detection, arrangement planning, in-class exercise: prepare stems for a provided track in your DAW
Bootleg vs. Label Remixes
