Our instructor roster ranges from Multi-Platinum Songwriters and Producers to rising LA Hitmakers and Artists. Have a look!
Need some help on a Project or Topic from class? No Problem. Our instructors can work with you 1-on-1 in Focus Hours
Get in touch and our placement experts will follow up with information. We can then set up an assessment call to get you enrolled in the most suitable schedule for you.
We start you off by teaching 36 Hours of Music Production and Theory in your DAW of choice- Ableton Live or Logic Pro. Once you have a solid understanding of MIDI, Virtual Instruments, Samples and Signal Flow, we assign you projects which will turn into your tracks for Songwriting.
See our Ableton DAW Course or Logic DAW Course pages for more details.
You are set up with award winning top liners and songwriters who dissect and analyze Hit records over the decades in various genres. After learning the principles and secret sauce of great Melodies and Lyrics, we help you with your own future hits. This is followed up with Vocal Production lessons and Recording Sessions in our state of the art studios. We highly encourage you to collaborate and cowrite with your batch in SongCraft lessons and Song Labs. Once your songs are fully recorded and produced, we will teach you to Tune, Edit, Use creative effects and Mix Vocals to craft your release ready song. You will be taught throughout the process SongSplits, Publishing, Master Ownership, Sync and other relevant topics in Music Business. Last but not least, you will get to play your songs in a listening session with Label A&Rs and/or Artist Managers. They can help you formulate release strategies depending on your genre and career goals.
See our SongCraft Page for more details!
Now that you’ve mastered the craft, let’s live the life of a Professional Songwriter. Your teacher will put you in writing groups and will have you collaborate for artist projects (the songs could very well be for you or your friends). Your group will be given a Songwriting Brief, with a deadline for submission. Just like the ones we get from major labels. You will learn to work on leads in various genres on a weekly basis and come up with hit records and more importantly make changes the label or artist wants. Your projects will be finished songs ready for release at the end of class and also could be performed at the Graduation Concert.
This is why we added Mentoring to our Songwriter / Producer Programs. We will let students pick an instructor of their choice and work with them in our state of the art Studio A. You can witness your songs transform using everything you have learned in class combined with the experience of your instructor. Plug in your laptop and feel free to use the outboard gear and hardware synths to make your tracks stand out! Collaborate with your batch mates and write your next hit with the instructors mentoring. We want you to leave with release ready records out of the SongCraft Pro Program.
All synths are MIDI connected for DAW use via iconnectivity MIO and Clever Audio MXM 12 Synth switcher. We also have a guitar pedal collection for sonic experiments in studio.
In this module you will play your tracks and songs to Artist/Producer Managers and A&Rs. You can use their feedback and critique to make any refinements to your music. You can also share your goals with them in music and with their help formulate a release strategy. You can also discuss promotion and create short and long term plans for your music. Ask questions regarding Publishing, Management, Ads & Marketing, Booking gigs, Touring and any general questions regarding the Music Business.
We throw you a Graduation Showcase at the end of each batch where you (or your Artist friends) perform the songs you created during the Program. Invite family and friends and we will have a high quality Live Video and Audio Recording of your songs. You can use this for Social Media, EPKs etc to promote your brand and music. Great songs work best performed and shared Live. We would love for you to keep being part of our songwriting community and keep creating with your friends!
