PART 3: Advanced Songwriting - Writing Camps (24 Hrs.)

Now that you’ve mastered the craft, let’s live the life of a Professional Songwriter. Your teacher will put you in writing groups and will have you collaborate for artist projects (the songs could very well be for you or your friends). Your group will be given a Songwriting Brief, with a deadline for submission.  Just like the ones we get from major labels. You will learn to work on leads in various genres on a weekly basis and come up with hit records and more importantly make changes the label or artist wants. Your projects will be finished songs ready for release at the end of class and also could be performed at the Graduation Concert.

Mentoring in our Studios

Online tutorial Videos and gear manuals will only take you so far. Whats the use of learning Songwriting, Music Production and your DAW if you can’t apply it immediately to your music? Learning without a feedback system leaves you open to mistakes and slows your progress.

This is why we added Mentoring to our Songwriter / Producer Programs. We will let students pick an instructor of their choice and work with them in our state of the art Studio A. You can witness your songs transform using everything you have learned in class combined with the experience of your instructor. Plug in your laptop and feel free to use the outboard gear and hardware synths to make your tracks stand out! Collaborate with your batch mates and write your next hit with the instructors mentoring. We want you to leave with release ready records out of the SongCraft Pro Program.

    Our Testimonials

My songs that were already finished were improved significantly, when I didn't think there was much room to improve. My writing ability and originality also increased. Casey is patient, but also honest, and it's exactly what I needed to get my music to another level. She was always open to hear original songs and give feedback, and was very good with answering questions even if they were asked more than once. If I could take the course myself again I totally would.

    Evan Frazer

Learned about song structure theoretically, but also about how to implement it. We saw what a songwriting session looks like, and how to get past obstacles that are common to those types of creative marathons.

    Michael Wiener

I would recommend this course to my friends that love music and creating their own songs. I definitely have learnt so much and loved everything about it.
